The Syrah/Shiraz glass is perfect for balancing the gripping tannins and concentrated fruit typical of medium-bodied red wines. It has a diamond shape that works beautifully for big and bold New World wines, as the extreme angles offer more space to develop aromas. The large bowl is balanced by its slightly tapered opening, which develops intense aromas and demonstrates mouth-filling fruit, dignified structure, and a long sweet finish on the palate.

Glass Care:

• All Riedel glasses are dishwasher safe.
• If washing by hand, wash the glass under warm water (use detergent and rinse the glass carefully).
• To avoid stains, use soft water with low mineral content. If stains emerge, you can use white vinegar to remove them.
• To prevent scratches, avoid glass contact with other glass or metal.
• Polish your glasses using two polishing cloths.
• Regularly wash your polishing cloths at boiling temperature with odorless soap.
• Avoid glass storage in kitchen cabinets which have strong aromas that translate into glass.
