La Rochere – Lyonnais Tumbler Set 6pce

From great trial and challenge comes great beauty; such is the story surrounding La Rochère glassworks.

Since 1475, La Rochère have been crafting glass for industries and the
home, but it is a history spotted with rightful events. In 1595, the
entire village in which La Rochère was located burned to the ground, and
then in 1636, the 30 Year War destroyed it once more.

It wasn’t until 1666 that the furnaces were re-lit – and they’ve been
burning ever since. La Rochère now make some of the most inspiring glass
vessels around for the table and home, working with designers to create
true objects of beauty.

Inspired by La Rochère’s own 19th Century designs, Lyonnais is
beautifully crafted with pressed motifs upon the bowl and low foot.
Rennaissance-look motifs finish off this collection for an esteemed look
and feel to your next glass of wine.
